Thanks to directions from siringo and wildcatter I was able to successfully convert 2 20 rd pmags for use with the 450B..
1) you need to grind down the standard follower outline far enough that when you insert the first round it will not 'catch/jam' under the feed lips.. It took several tries, but I was able to get it done.. I used a bench grinder and tried that first round, if it caught at all (ie stayed under the feed lips) it was lather, rinse, repeat..
As MB mentioned the Pmag has a ridge down the front of the mag body.. I used a dremel tool to remove it from end as far as i could reach.. Then i bought a small triangle file ($5 from Tractor Supply/Lowes etc) and did the tediuos task filing the center part of the ridge down
You also need to install some nylon screws in the follower - otherwise it will tilt and jam.. See the post called 'magazines' for pics of Siringos modified followers.. Or I can post pics of my own after I get back from hunting this morning..
aFter the first modification it only took me about 20 minutes to do the second mag.. So far they have functioned 100%
