Protect That Muzzle!!

Reading through several threads, I keep noticing the comments about reluctance to go buy finger cots!
Well, here is another option and you don't have to act all embarrassed  when you buy these!
Black Tactical surgical gloves!! Yes they do exist!

Oh yeah....Wildcatter, I think you can even get them in green! LOL!

Here is a link, but I think I might be able to get them even cheaper than this.

Very well laid out post! I have been using the Raven black nitrile gloves for years while building race cars and they are at most $10 for a box of a hundred at my local autoparts store. They are powder and latex free and IIRC 6 millimeters thick. I started using these shortly after the first finger cot thread on my rifles and the nice thing is I get 5 muzzle protectors from the fingers of the glove and a few more just out if the rest of the glove. :D

I am waiting to hear back from my source, but I think I can get these gloves at around 8.00 a box.
I may have to buy case lot, but hey, I'm sure I can find owners for the lot!

How did you use the remainder of the glove, outside of the fingers? Just wrap the piece of the glove around and rubberband it?

Definitely good stuff there. I won't be nearly as embarassed pretending I'm doing tactical surgery! You could always use the rest of the glove doing Billy Idol Karaoke! Sheepdawg, sorry for hijacking your other post.

Just tell them you are changing out oil or transmission fluid, or differential fluid/gear oil. working on cars is a manly thing and nobody would question you in the slightest.

LOL ! Billy Idol Karaoke! That's hysterical!
No problem, buddy. I was greatly humored to see a bunch of guys
Freaking out on finger cots. But I figured we better make that another topic
Cuz of the way the thread might end up going!
LOL.

Yes. Tattoo artists like them. That's where I got the pair that you see
In the photos.
He is talking around 7 bucks a box.
But having been in EMS services and a retired firefighter
I knew they existed but never had used them.
