Hi all. Looking for some load data for the 225 gr FTX with win 296. I do not have many options here. Powder is hard too find and lil gun is impossible. Also would like any info on 200 gr XTP and win 296. Thanks. Just received my new Hornady manual and was surprised they have no info below 240 gr.

While it's probably on the low side of optimal burn rate, load the 225's starting with 38gr and work up in half grain steps. Chronograph their velocity, watch for case distress and note your accuracy. I would not use 296 with the 200's but QL says you can. Same recipe as above. You should be able to hit two accuracy nodes through the velocity range before max pressure with both bullets. Use a strong primer.
