On the other hand, 185 grain xtp's do seem to suffer from severe jacket separation. Search the forum for the 185, and you will get some bad reports on their performance. I almost ordered some of these on the Hornaday rebate program, but after reading those posts, I decided not to. Here is the link - http://450bushmaster.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1520.

I shot two more deer tonight with this load in Indiana's late antler less season, and I thought I would post the results.

Both were shot just behind the shoulder at about 75 yards, and neither of them moved at all after the shot. The second one twitched for a second, but never moved from its initial spot. Both had the 2" entrance with .45" exit hole.

Hopefully this doesn't sound boastful, but I know this is the kind of information I would have loved to have read when trying to come up with a deer load for my Bushmaster.
