How is the recoil and any pressure signs? I put the round together with 33.5 gun lil gun and was happy with accuracy and recoil. Is there another accuracy not up higher but still safe?
I know you were asking fox400, but I thought I’d put in my experience. Different barrels and builds, will take different loads. With that said you should be able to load higher, just make sure you keep an eye on everything.
As to recoil, it depends on your build. I have a lighter weight build 450B using an 18” Midlength gas barrel from Tromix, Ross brake, Slash’s XH buffer, and limb saver pad. I could shoot my stout 275 TSX loads all day with that rifle. I have 2 other builds, one a 20” BHW, rifle gas, target crown, same lower as the Tromix, that weighs quite a bit and has the most recoil of my 450’s. Then I have a bushmaster 16” carbine gas, Izzy brake, and Slash’s buffer that recoils between the 2. It’s also weighs less than the 20”BHW. All using similar loads.
