Veddy interesting, Dawg! So, has the steel plate learned its lesson yet, or are you planning anything with 325gr Barnes Busters?

Holy cow pies! You found the bullet!! or 60% of it!
Pretty good retention for going through 7/16 steel and a jug of water!
and the jug actually took 2 hits! bullet + steel slug.
How much did the slug weigh?

I really didn't intend to put any more holes in it right now. I want to focus more on getting the range built and finished before the Texas Heat makes progress slow to a halt.

Just as a reminder, this steel plate asked for it about a year ago. This video makes number five in a series of five videos. To see previous research, go to my You Tube channel and watch the whole series. We started out thinking this was a piece of 3/8" steel. But later, when measured with a caliper, it was .421" thick.

Awesome video dawg. We need to get our caliber in the spotlight. I watch all the gun shows and have not heard about the .450 once. How about splitting a card after plugging a steel plate, now that would be an impossible shot worth watching.

Sounds like a good way to kick off my range party & christen my range when it's finished.

The 230 gr fmj @2500 fps is the whole reason I've wanted the .450b.

Great info and videos sheep! I can't wait to see more bullet weights being tested

Hopefully I'll be finishing my .450 within the week.
