In regard to spin stabilized projectiles, specific barrel twists stabilize specific projectile weights more effectively, i.e., a 1 in 24" twist of a .450 favors a lighter bullet than a 1 in 16" twist.
Therefore, if a 1 in 24" does not favor 225 grain projectile accuracy, is it worthwhile to try to develop a load for a 1 in 16" twist barrel with a 225 grain projectile?
I like accurate loads, just don't want to waste time (developing a load) on a 225 grain bullet in a 1 in 16" barrel if the best I can do is a 2' group.
